In September 1991, he was hired as a senior researcher at the Research Institute of Pediatric Hematology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and from January 1995 he was appointed Acting Head of the Department of Emergency Hematology at the Morozovskaya State Clinical Hospital.
On December 01, 1995, he was hired as a hematologist at the 14th hematology department of the Morozovskaya Children's City Clinical Hospital.
In September 2002, he was transferred to the position of head of the hematology department of the Morozovskaya State Clinical Hospital, where he still works.
Since 2014, he has been the head of the city Center for Oncology and Hematology at the MDGKB DZM State Medical University.
Since 2010, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Oncology, Hematology and Immunology of the Pediatric Faculty of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.

In 1981, he graduated from the full-time department of the Pediatric faculty of the 2nd MOLGMI named after N.I.Pirogov.
In 1981-83, he studied in clinical residency at the Department of Pediatric Diseases No. 1 of the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute named after N.I.Pirogov at the Morozovskaya State Clinical Hospital.
From 1983-86 he studied full-time postgraduate studies at the same department of the Institute.
After completing his postgraduate studies, from September 1986 to August 1991, he was an assistant at the Department of Pediatric Diseases No. 1 at the 2nd MOLGMI named after N.I.Pirogov.
In 1988, he defended his PhD thesis on Clinical, hematological and prognostic characteristics of variants and subvariants of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children.
