For several years, he has participated in training courses at the Osteosynthesis Association (AO) in Davos, Switzerland. In recent years, he has been a regular speaker at the Davos forum, presenting theoretical papers and participating in practical seminars. He enthusiastically utilizes modern telemedicine technologies, including online broadcasting from operating rooms and telemedicine consultations for patients from remote regions of Russia, the CIS (former Soviet republics), as well as Europe and Asia.

Complex microsurgical procedures for spinal and spinal cord reconstruction. He is a developer of new surgical approaches for complicated spinal injuries and various degenerative spinal diseases, particularly herniated discs.

From 1987 to 1993, he worked as a research fellow in the Laboratory of Spinal and Spinal Cord Injuries, where, under the supervision of Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences Professor G.S. Yumashev, he performed complex microsurgical procedures to reconstruct the spine and spinal cord and conducted research in this area.

Since 1993, he has headed the Department of Neurosurgery, which specializes in spine and spinal cord surgery. The department is one of the city's leading providers of care for patients with acute spinal injuries, as well as degenerative spinal disorders.
