City Clinical Hospital No. 31 named after Academician G.M. Savelyeva is one of the largest and most modern inpatient facilities in Moscow. It was the first clinic in Moscow to receive the Pirogov Order for outstanding contributions to the development of healthcare.
Description
City Clinical Hospital No. 31 named after Academician G.M. Savelyeva was founded in 1970. Today, it is a multidisciplinary complex equipped with modern medical technology. In 2025, its team was awarded the Pirogov Order: it is the first hospital in Moscow to receive this award.
Since 2021, the hospital has been part of the EMIAS system. In 2023, a "Hospitalization" section was introduced, allowing patients to track their appointments and treatment in real time.
On May 5, 2023, Maternity Hospital No. 4, Women's Health Clinics, and a center for assisted reproductive technologies became part of the Savelyeva Hospital No. 31.
In November, a new neonatal building opened, with Moscow's first women's health center starting work on its lower floors. The upper floors house a neonatal care department with 76 beds, including 30 neonatal intensive care beds. As a result, within just six months, Maternity Hospital No. 4 was transformed into the perinatal center of the City Clinical Hospital No. 31 named after Academician G.M. Savelyeva.
The hospital is included in the system for providing high-tech medical care in gynecology, surgery, urology, cardiovascular surgery, and traumatology and orthopedics.
The hospital employs 1,915 people, including 685 doctors and 743 nurses.
