Annually performs 200–250 interventions on the heart and major vessels of newborns and infants up to one year of age (including cardiopulmonary bypass and closed methods), with a minimum patient weight of 800 grams. Since March 2016, Dr. Abramyan has been appointed Deputy Chief Specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery as Specialist in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery of Moscow Healthcare Department.

In 2004, defended a Candidate of Sciences thesis on "Prolonged Open Sternotomy in the Comprehensive Intensive Care of Acute Heart Failure in Infants" in Cardiovascular Surgery and Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
In 2012, defended a Doctor of Sciences thesis on "Diagnosis, Intensive Care, and Efficacy of Radical Correction of Acute Congenital Heart Defects in the Neonatal Period" in the specialties of Cardiovascular Surgery and Cardiology.

Author of over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at conferences, including international ones.

President of the Interregional Society of Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons.
