Baykova Oksana Alekseevna

Internist, Head of the Therapeutic Department. Professor at the Department of Hospital Therapy, Faculty of General Medicine, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), Honored Doctor of the City of Moscow, Excellence in Healthcare Awardee.

Oksana Alekseevna specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of internal medicine conditions, including:
• Respiratory diseases (acute and chronic bronchitis, laryngotracheitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma);
• Cardiovascular pathologies (arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmias);
• Gastrointestinal diseases (acute and chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, enteritis and colitis of various etiologies, liver, gallbladder and pancreatic diseases);
• Urinary system disorders (cystitis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis);
• Comprehensive diagnostics of complex clinical cases;
• Management of patients with multiple chronic conditions (comorbid patients);
• Development of individual treatment and relapse prevention plans;
• Interpretation of laboratory and instrumental test results (blood tests, ECG, ultrasound, radiography, spirometry, etc.);
• Organisation of interdisciplinary collaboration with narrow specialists (cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, etc.).

1986 – began professional career in the therapeutic department of City Clinical Hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov as a clinical resident.
2002 – appointed head of the 23rd multidisciplinary therapeutic department of the hospital.
To the present – combines clinical work with teaching and research as a professor at the Department of Hospital Therapy of Pirogov RNRMU, training young specialists.
Participates in hospital-wide conferences where complex clinical cases are discussed.
Supervises the implementation of modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods in the department.

o 1986 – graduated from Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev with a degree in General Medicine.
o Completed clinical residency in therapy.
o Continuously improves qualifications, participates in professional conferences and seminars.
o Defended Candidate and Doctoral dissertations, advancing research in internal medicine.
