In 2005, he was a junior researcher; in 2008, he became a research fellow in the Department of Aortic Root Surgery at the Institute of Coronary and Vascular Surgery of the A. N. Bakulev National Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery (head of the Department of Aortic Root Surgery, deputy director of the A. N. Bakulev National Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A. I. Malashenkov).
In 2011, after the department was reorganized into the Department of Reconstructive Surgery and Aortic Root, he continued to work in the same position.

1996 – 2002 graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine at Kursk State Medical University. (Scholar of the University’s Academic Council, scholarship recipient of the city administration of Kursk).
2002 – 2007 completed clinical residency and postgraduate studies at the A. N. Bakulev National Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, specializing in cardiovascular surgery; Candidate of Medical Sciences.
In 2007, he defended his dissertation titled “Surgical Treatment of Ascending Aortic Aneurysms and Coarctation of the Aorta.”

- Aortic Pathology: Open and hybrid treatment methods.
- Valvular Heart Disease: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), transapical aortic valve implantation, video-assisted minimally invasive surgery, and reconstructive/plastic valve repair operations.
- Coronary Artery Disease: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (on-pump and off-pump), MIDCAB, MICSCAB.
- Arrhythmia Management: Open and thoracoscopic ablation.
