The department uses various types of surgical treatment for hip joint pathologies, ranging from minimally invasive reduction of congenital hip dislocation using the overhead method, corrective osteotomies of the femur and pelvic bones, to hip arthroplasty.

Operations for limb lengthening in children after trauma or with congenital bone defects. Surgical treatment of congenital hip dislocations and their consequences, as well as malformations of the hand and foot, is also performed.

High medical technologies are used in the surgical process: arthroscopy, knee ligament reconstruction, bone defect reconstruction using bone alloplasty, etc.
