Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Chief Urologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Chief Urologist of Moscow Healthcare Department, Head of the Moscow Urological Center, Head of the Urology Department of the Russian University of Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Research and practical interests include oncourology, reconstructive urology, and urogynecology. He pioneered robotic-assisted surgery in Moscow and currently has the most experience in robotic-assisted urology. Many surgeries are performed in various regions of Russia using his technique. His unique experience in vaginal surgeries has enabled the creation of a distinct scientific school, ensuring the best treatment outcomes for complex urogynecological patients with urinary incontinence and genital prolapse. Doctor Pushkar is also developing methods for the prevention and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. This primarily involves minimally invasive transurethral procedures, which help preserve quality of life for men of all ages.

D.Yu. Pushkar is the author of over 50 monographs and manuals published in Russia and abroad, and has been a guest lecturer and surgeon at various European and American congresses and conferences. Author of more than 400 scientific papers, 7 monographs, and 32 surgical videos. Holds five Russian patents. He is the only urologist in Russia certified by the European Board of Urology. He serves on the editorial board of the journal "Urology" and on the reviewer panel of the journal "European Urology".
