The surgery is performed through small punctures in the abdominal wall (laparoscopy) or through the vagina (hysteroscopy) using a camera. You may need a metroplasty if you have a cesarean scar defect, adhesions, or other congenital and acquired defects causing difficulty conceiving or carrying a pregnancy.
