Intravitreal injection is a minimally invasive procedure that delivers medication directly to the center of the eye to treat retinal conditions. The procedure takes just a few minutes and does not require hospitalization. It is recommended for age‑related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular thrombosis.
