Femtosecond laser‑assisted in situ keratomileusis (Femto LASIK) is a contactless laser vision correction procedure in which all surgical steps are performed using lasers, eliminating the need for mechanical instruments. During the procedure, a femtosecond laser creates an ultrathin corneal flap, after which an excimer laser reshapes the cornea. The intervention is performed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. The surgery is recommended for patients with myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. As a result, the patient achieves clear vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses.
