Vertebroplasty is a high‑tech minimally invasive procedure to strengthen damaged vertebrae by injecting special bone cement. The cement is delivered into the vertebral body through a special needle, with all manipulations guided by real‑time X‑ray imaging. This intervention is performed for compression fractures of the vertebrae that do not involve nerve compression — such as those caused by osteoporosis, hemangioma, traumatic spinal injury, vertebral metastases, and other spinal tumors. As a result, the procedure relieves pain, stabilizes the spine, and prevents further bone destruction.
